Build cleaner technique, stronger footwork, more coordinated body movement and greater confidence in your dancing. These progressive solo-training courses are designed to give you a clear structure for growth while keeping the atmosphere supportive and enjoyable; they are not partnering classes.

When we dance

Five-week progressive series with Lior Chen. Tuesdays, October 20 and 27, and November 3, 10 and 17, 2026.

Fundamentals 1 — 7:00 PM
Ideal for beginners and dancers who want to strengthen timing, footwork and core technique.

Fundamentals 2 — 8:00 PM
More movement, coordination and flow for dancers ready to build on the basics.

Train with intention. Grow with a team. Perform together. Directed by Lior Chen, with Solo Tu choreography and monthly coaching by Chiara Tofani, this six-month project is designed for committed Salsa On2 dancers who want consistent training, personalized support and performance goals.

When we dance

Every Tuesday, 8:00–10:00 PM, beginning October 20. Six-month commitment.

  • For advanced-beginner Salsa On2 dancers and above who know basic timing and footwork. No audition video is required.
  • Weekly in-person rehearsal and technique training with Lior Chen.
  • Monthly live online rehearsals with Chiara Tofani, personal video feedback and Chiara Tofani Online Premium access.
  • Online rehearsals begin October 18 and meet on the third Sunday of each month at 1:00 PM Los Angeles time, including after daylight saving time changes.
  • Performance opportunities in March and April 2027.

Private Lessons

Private lessons with Lior are tailored to your goals, experience and learning style. Work on Salsa On1 or On2, partnering, solo technique, body movement, fundamentals, musicality, confidence or another focus of your choice. You do not need to bring a partner, but you are welcome to bring one for the two-person lesson rate. A male instructor can join Lior for partnering work for an additional fee; please inquire for availability and pricing.

Dance House LA offers introductory salsa lessons for adults, with solo or partnering options. No previous dance experience or partner is required. Programs can be adapted to the group's size, setting and goals.
